- Our Statement Of Faith
- We believe in the Bible as God's infallible written Word, the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments
as uniquely, verbally and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit and that it was written without error (inerrant)
in the original manuscripts.
And, that it is the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
- We believe in God, one in essence, who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son,
and Holy Spirit who are co-equal and co-eternal. We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ a
s the only begotten Son of God, His virgin birth, sinless life, vicarious substitutionary death,
bodily resurrection and in His eventual return to judge the world.
- We believe all men are born with a sinful nature and that the death of Jesus Christ on the Cross
was to redeem man from the power of sin. We believe that salvation is available to all who will receive
it through faith in the LORD Jesus Christ. We believe that every believer has a unique relationship to the
Lord, immediate access to the throne of grace and the ability to manifest the power of the Lord Jesus Christ
in life and ministry. We believe in the existence of the Holy Spirit
as the third person of the Trinity and in His indwelling of every born-again believer.
- We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as manifested by the fruit and the gifts
of the Spirit. We believe in the continuation of the spiritual gifts and the five offices mentioned
in Ephesians 4:11 as remaining active and valid in the contemporary Christian church.
- We believe in the church as a living, spiritual body in which Christ is
the Head and of which all regenerated people are members.
- We believe that Christ has committed to the local church, the ordinances of Baptism
and Communion to be observed until He comes, and the church’s responsibility
to proclaim to a lost world their need to accept Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord.
- We believe in Holy matrimony as ordained by God to be a marriage between a male
and a female, both being mature adults and based on mutual understanding and consent.
We believe that human betterment and
social improvement are essential products of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
- We believe in the future bodily resurrection of the saved and the unsaved, the everlasting blessedness
of the saved, and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost.
